YAY, we finally finished the quilt! We don't have a name for it yet (any suggestions?) but I'm super happy that we got it finished in time.
It is made out of 294 squares (21 rows and 14 columns) and there are about 60 different fabrics in it.
It was quilted about on both sides of the seam to make the squares 'pop out' :)
The back of the quilt is a really fluffy flannel. To make it super warm we used a wool batting. I love how colorful and joyful it turned out to be. It will be perfect to add some color to my dorm room :) And of course keep me warm during those dreadfully long and rainy winter months in Vancouver.

Wow! It came out so pretty! I'm so glad you finished in time... and of course I'm very impressed. It will definitely add a wonderful handmade-homey touch to your dorm room!
